Anyway, marmites main plus is the freedom it gives its players - as a pathfinder im actually proud to say we are marmites leaders of the lossboard and, dare I say it the only corp in alliance that does solo pvp wherever we feel like. Marmites also a reletively drama free alliance and sure it has the same small issues pretty much any alliance suffers from, but they are a minor problem here.
Yes, there are a lot of guys who like to hang around certain gates and stations (welcome to the majority of eve pvp, this is nothing new and most of the people commenting here more than fit into this same category) but when we look at how the eve universe works we can clearly see this is where the majority of people are caught and killed so its hardly surprising.
When you paint an alliance with a brush, you paint the whole alliance and everyone in it.

Yeah I've been in corp (bloom) with deathshade7 and he had access to billions of isks worth of assets so needless to say I was very surprised he did this just for you guys to get a km worth less than 200m, its made me re-evaluate an already thin commodity in eve and that's trust, and just how far some players are willing to go for such tiny gains.
I would have preferred to have lost my ship under different circumstances but hey, at least I learnt something important today.

Lets just set the record straight here a minute, Fybs has ALWAYS maintained that he doesnt want to FC but due to people (myself included) being unwilling to we kind of kept volunteering him. (Besides i rather enjoy flying with fybs as he lacks the drama most folks seem to have)
As for form up times thats down to the individuals themselves, not the FC.

And this is why we (pathfinders.) prefer to enable all our players to be able to undock and operate anywhere solo, this doesn't mean they are solo PvP killing machines mind you but if they want to run PvE they are more than capable of going and doing so while at war or even in other peoples SOV.

Oddly, this sounds exactly like the same tactics I use in nullsec in other peoples SOV, I rarely sit still or camp and minimize the time I do, often when I kill something the first thing I do is make sure I'm aligned ready for warp out, even if I see nothing on dscan and moving around a lot keeps any intel being run on me from being overly effective.
So, if I bare this in mind I could liken a lot of highsec gangs to dullbear HD fleets and can honestly say I actually think with your comment right there you are in the wrong corp for your knowledge base.

Sniggwaffe most definatly does not fight outnumbered if they can help it and will batphone at any available opportunity, when I was there they even reprimanded several solo PvPers becuase they were taking too many chances, as for PL's 'real' PvP I will grant that you have some good members, most alliances do, but a high % of your alliance are nothing more than glorified km whores riding coattails.

Oh I don't know, a good fight to me is when you beat a superior force with superior tactics which of course rarely happens, although when it does you literally feel like you are damned awesome.
I really need to learn some new tricks for solo (and duo if i bring links) though, the old ones still work but a lot of folks are wise to them which makes things somewhat difficult
